How the online BIM course runs
Online here means live, not a recorded video library. Here is what a Chennai learner actually gets:

Live sessions with a trainer. The trainer models on screen; you model alongside in Revit; questions are answered in the session, not in a forum days later.

Software on your own machine. We walk you through setup before the first session.

Project reviews. You submit your model at each milestone; the trainer reviews it with mark-ups and feedback, exactly as classroom learners get.

The same two certificates as classroom learners: a course completion certificate and a project completion certificate, both issued by Bumblebee Inc.
What you need: a Windows laptop or desktop that runs Revit comfortably, 16 GB RAM and a dedicated graphics card are recommended, and a stable connection. If you’re unsure your machine qualifies, tell us the spec during counselling.

Revit Plus (60 hours). One tool learned properly. You build a complete Revit model and a drawing set, plans, sections, schedules, from a real project brief. Right for graduates new to BIM and for drafters adding Revit to AutoCAD experience.
Core BIM (80 hours). The full workflow: modelling, documentation standards, basic coordination in Navisworks and collaboration in Autodesk Construction Cloud. Right for engineers and architects who want to move from drawing production into a BIM team.
Programmes that run in the classroom only
BIM Vantage (civil and architecture, 120 hours), Revit MEP (mechanical and electrical) and Core BIM for electrical engineering run at our Coimbatore institute, because multi-discipline coordination and MEP work are easier to teach in the room. Chennai learners join these as classroom batches; Coimbatore is about six hours from Chennai by train. Ask an advisor about batch dates before planning travel.

BIM course fees for Chennai learners
Fees are the same whether you learn online from Chennai or in the classroom in Coimbatore. Revit Plus is ₹25,000 + GST. Core BIM for architecture is ₹60,000 + GST; Core BIM for civil engineering is confirmed on enquiry. There is no separate “Chennai fee” and no online surcharge. Why engineers in Chennai are learning BIM now
Chennai has one of the larger concentrations of engineering-services, design and construction firms in South India, and BIM modeller and coordinator roles are advertised there regularly, many of them serving Gulf and international projects from Chennai offices. A civil, mechanical or electrical graduate who can model in Revit and coordinate in Navisworks is applying for a different set of jobs than one who can only draft. Career support for online learners is the same as for classroom learners: portfolio guidance, interview preparation and referrals to hiring firms in India and the UAE. It is support with finding work, not a guaranteed job or salary.
Certificates you earn
Two, both issued by Bumblebee Inc on completion: a course completion certificate and a project completion certificate. These are institute certificates. Autodesk software is taught on every programme, but Autodesk does not issue these certificates and completing a course is not an Autodesk credential. If you want a vendor certification, that is a separate exam you sit with Autodesk. Ask an advisor about the route.

Do you have a BIM training centre in Chennai?
No. Bumblebee Inc has one institute, in Coimbatore. Chennai learners study with us through live online sessions, or travel to Coimbatore for the classroom-only programmes. We would rather tell you that plainly than let you find out after enquiring.
What are the fees for a BIM course in Chennai?
The same as everywhere else we teach: Revit Plus is ₹25,000 + GST (60 hours), Core BIM for architecture is ₹60,000 + GST (80 hours), and Core BIM for civil engineering is confirmed on enquiry. There is no online surcharge. The full fee table is on our fees page.
Which BIM course is best for me?
If you want one tool learned properly and a drawing set to show employers, Revit Plus. If you want the whole workflow, modelling, documentation standards, coordination, Core BIM. If you already model and want coordination and delivery responsibility, BIM Vantage in the classroom. Counselling is free and exists to answer exactly this.
Is online BIM training as good as classroom?
For Revit Plus and Core BIM, yes. The sessions are live with the same trainers, the project reviews are the same, and the certificates are identical. We keep BIM Vantage and Revit MEP in the classroom because multi-discipline coordination is easier to teach in the room, which tells you we don’t put a course online unless it works there.
Is BIM better than CAD?
For building and infrastructure projects, BIM replaces separate 2D drawings with one information-rich model that generates drawings, schedules and clash reports. CAD still has its place for simple drafting. Our BIM vs CAD guide for civil engineers covers when each makes sense.
Which software will I use, and how do I get it?
Revit throughout; Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud on Core BIM. You install the software on your own machine for the duration of the course; we guide the setup before your first session.
