This policy explains what personal data Bumblebee Inc collects through bumblebeeinc.in, why we collect it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. It also explains your rights and how to use them.

Who we are

Bumblebee Inc is a BIM training institute. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry

Our call-back and contact forms ask for your name, phone number, email address and the course you are interested in. You can also add a subject and a message. We use these details to reply to you, to offer counselling about our courses and to handle your admission if you enrol.

Each enquiry is emailed to our admissions team and saved in our website database. To stop spam, we also check the IP address a form is sent from. We keep a short-lived counter of recent sends from that address for one hour.

When you call or message us

If you call us or message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number and anything you tell us. We use it only to answer your enquiry. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking. They tell us which pages people visit, what device and browser they use, their approximate location and how they found us. They also tell us when a visit leads to an enquiry, a call or a WhatsApp message. This helps us improve the site and measure our adverts. These tools use cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Protection against fake ad clicks

When you reach our site by clicking one of our paid adverts, we run extra checks to spot bots and fake clicks. For those visits only, we record:

  • your IP address, browser details and the page you landed on;
  • the ad click ID and campaign details;
  • signs that the browser is automated, such as a headless browser or an unusual screen size;
  • how the page was used: time on the page, how far it was scrolled, mouse and touch activity, and whether a form was sent or a call, WhatsApp or email link was tapped.

These checks never read what you type into our forms. We may look up the IP address with the ip-api.com service to learn its network type and rough location, for example whether it belongs to a data centre. If a visit looks automated, we may block that IP address from our site and ask Google Ads not to show our adverts to it. We keep click records for up to 12 months and the other signals for 90 days.

Security and server logs

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and serves it quickly. Cloudflare and our hosting server process your IP address and browser details for every request. Our server keeps standard access logs of those requests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and answer enquiries, and only as far as they need it:

  • our web hosting provider and Cloudflare, to host and deliver the site;
  • our email provider, to deliver enquiries to our team;
  • Google, for analytics and advertising measurement;
  • ip-api.com, for the IP checks described above.

Some of these providers may store data outside India. We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our users.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and keep our admissions records. After that we delete them. Ad-click checks are kept for the periods given above. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw your consent;
  • stop using it for any purpose you have consented to;
  • let someone you nominate use these rights for you.

Email [email protected] to make a request or a complaint. We will reply within the time the law allows. If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our website and courses are meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

Keeping your data safe

Our site uses HTTPS, so data you send is encrypted in transit. Only staff who need enquiry details can see them. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and fix any problem quickly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our Cookie Policy and Legal Notice and Terms of Use .
